Technology / Social Responsibility Unit
|
For TRB Standard #6, I have chosen to include both of the assessments from my Practicum Supervisors, a unit plan with the accompanying lesson plans, and a visual aid for a Holidays Around the World Unit that I co-taught. I feel that the Technology / Social Responsibility Unit demonstrates my understanding of the new curriculum and the core competencies. I feel that the map illustrates my ability to teach students curricula in various contexts (Canadian, Aboriginal, and global contexts included) and that I was able to convey the values, beliefs, and knowledge of our society. Lastly, I included the assessments from my Practicum Supervisors as I feel that they represent my understanding of the curricular, conceptual, and methodological foundations of education.
